Thanksgiving in Florida:
It has become tradition that my family travels to wherever I’m living at the time to enjoy Thanksgiving together. That means for the past several years, everyone has had to travel to Chicago. It is cold, usually snowy, and really sets the tone for the upcoming holiday season. We had our traditions of eating a turkey feast, going to Christkindlmarket, looking at Christmas lights, and staying warm by drinking mulled wine. This year, everyone traveled to Florida and our activities obviously changed. Here is what Thanksgiving in Florida entails.
Cheering for the Tampa Bay Lightning (Sorry Blackhawks)…
Kayaking in sunny 80F weather…
Making sand castles at the beach…
And eating Thanksgiving dinner under the stars in shorts!
What are your Thanksgiving traditions?
